New : Île d'Orléans Cultural Passport!
The Regroupement des équipements culturelles de l'île d'Orléans (RÉCI), the Economuseums® of Île d'Orléans and the Île d'Orléans CLD innovate with a new tool in cultural tourism unique in the Québec region, the Ile d'Orléans Cultural Passport.
What is this Cultural Passport?
Combining the concept of a passport to a museums pass, the Ile d'Orléans Cultural Passport provides admission to each of seven historical and cultural interpretation centres. In one purchase, an adult can make a visit in seven different cultural places on the Île d'Orléans; five cultural sites and two economuseums®. The passport is valid one year so it gives latitude and flexibility to the visitors. By creating is own itinerary in the Île d'Orléans historic district, the passport holder can fill his Cultural Passport of official stamps on each places visited.
Economical and focus on the family, the Île d'Orléans Cultural Passport!
The Île d'Orléans Cultural Passport is sold at the advantageous cost of 18 $ (taxes included), representing a 50% discount for an adult. It is adapted the family budget as admission is free for the children under 12 years of age accompanying the Cultural Passport holder. The passport is valid one year from the date of purchase and it is non-transferable from an adult to another.
With a family knowledge-testing contest included in the passport, you will dynamize your visits. While visiting the island's attractions, the whole family will have fun with a special activity for children and another for adults. The two activities can be carried out during your visits, because you'll be asked to solve a few mysteries, like in a police investigation! Each of the riddles is connected either to an interpretation centre or to the Tourist Information Centre. You'll need to put all your curiosity and investigative powers to work! Win one of the two gift baskets from the interpretation centres, each with a value of $150! The draw for the children's and adults' prizes will be held in December. Only questionnaires with at least four correct answers out of eight will be entered in the draw.
